SHOULD MY HAIR BE SHAMPOOED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL?

No. The shampoo and conditioning steps are provided for each service that we provide.

WHAT DAYS/HOURS IS JENNIFER AVAILABLE?

Jennifer is available for booking on the following days. Wednesday through Saturday.

Services can be booked up to 2 hours prior to the end of day for your stylist.

Booking times are as follows:

Wednesday, 10am through 5pm, Thursday and Friday 10am - 5pm and and Saturday 8am through noon

WHAT TYPE OF HAIR IS NEEDED TO ADD VOLUME TO THE FLAT TWIST UPSTYLE?

I would recommend a type of Marley hair (or a kinky hair). Typically only one pack of hair is needed; however, I always recommend purchasing an extra pack to be safe. Most beauty supply stores will allow you to do an exchange or receive a store credit for any hair that is unused/unopen. This will vary from store to store.

If your hair is softer I would recommend Marley Hair

If your hair is more coarse I would recommend Cuban Twist hair (Brand: Shake N Go - Equal)

WHAT TYPE OF HAIR IS NEEDED FOR FEED IN CORNROWS?

Hair is provided for this service in the colors 1, 1B and 4. Please provide your desired color at the time your appointment is made. Fun colors should be bought by the client. X-pression pre-stretched braiding hair is recommended. Typically one pack of hair is sufficient for 2 to 3 braids.

HOW LONG WILL THE SERVICE TAKE?

Depending on the complexity of the style and service desired you will be in the salon for approximately 2.5 hours. If hair is longer or thicker than average you should expect for your service to take slightly longer to complete.

HOW LONG WILL MY PROTECTIVE STYLE LAST?

Most styles last up to 3 weeks depending on how you care for the style. This will vary client to client based on hair texture, density, and whether the hair is properly wrapped consistently.
